This configuration supports sites where the use of SCSR pouches is prohibited, while still providing a stable and ergonomic platform for carrying approved equipment.
In response to Mandalong Colliery restrictions on SCSR pouches, this vest replaces traditional pouch-based mounting with a robust strap and buckle system. The system allows approved items to be secured firmly against the torso without the use of fixed pouches, reducing swing and maintaining stability during walking, climbing and equipment operation. The design provides controlled retention while remaining simple, durable and easy to inspect.
